The 4th trimester is the wildest time. It's so beautiful, raw, messy, exhausting and beautiful at the same time. Time slows down and stretches and while there is chaos, there is a new appreciation for taking in the changes of those first few days and weeks.

I always aim for my newborn sessions to be slow, and never rushed. This is a time to take cues from your family and new baby. Lull them to sleep, stop for feedings and diaper changes. I love home sessions for this reason. Just you, your baby in the comfort of your own space capturing all the tiny details that go way too quickly.
